Staff are our most important asset and their health, safety and welfare is our greatest responsibility.

Network Geotechnics has an OHSW&R (Occupational Health Safety Welfare & Rehabilitation) Policy, the basis of which is that the well-being of people employed at work and people affected by our work are priorities and must be considered during all work performed.

The objectives of our Safety Policy are to:
  • Continually strive for an accident free workplace.
  • Commit to health, safety, welfare and rehabilitation by integrating these with managerial and supervisory positions.
  • Ensure health, safety and welfare is considered in planning and work activities.
  • Involve employees in our safety culture through communication, consultation and training.
  • Identify potential hazards in the workplace through hazard identification and risk analysis.
  • Implement controls that reduce the potential for accidents/dangerous occurrences.
  • Provide effective injury management and rehabilitation procedures.

The success of our OHSW&R management is dependent on:
  • Pro-active planning of safe work practices.
  • Understanding the total work process and associated OHS&W risks.
  • Ensuring the work team is committed to achieving our objectives.
  • Ensuring that open communication exists between management and all employees.
